Ever feel in a rut? Like you just keep going to the same places and doing the same things and it’s getting old? Have no fear, Vibrancy Health Coaching (per usual) is here! Our favorite resource for finding hiking, running, and mountain biking trails is AllTrails.

What is Alltrails?

Alltrails is a website with a catalogue of over 60,000 trails including trail info, maps, detailed reviews, difficulty ratings, and photos submitted by members. It’s an amazing resource to find new places to explore in your area. Joining is free and there is a premium/pro paid option for additional features.

Why is it so great?

Aside from what we’ve already mentioned you can:

  • Search for specific trails, search an area for trails, or just play around on the map and look for places to hike, bike, and explore

  • Filter trails based on:

    • Length

    • Difficulty

    • Star rating

    • Suitability (e.g. are dogs allowed)

    • What to see (e.g. waterfalls)

    • What to do (e.g. mountain biking)

    • Route type (e.g. a loop or there-and-back)

    • Typical trail traffic (i.e. whether or not there are typically a lot of people)

    • Elevation gains

  • Save trails to keep track of your favorites

  • Download Alltrails in app form
