Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground lamb

  • 1 onion, coarsley grated

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 1/2 teaspon paprika

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • Dash of cinnamon

  • Avocado oil for frying

Tips & Substitutions

  • Sautéing your meatballs is not the only way to cook them. You can try cooking them on a kebab on the grill, under the broiler, or in the oven at about 350 F.


Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl. Mix all ingredients until they are well combined.

  2. With the mixture, form small meatballs being sure to keep them approximately the same size. We generally try to keep ours around walnut-sized so that they cook faster.

  3. Add oil to skillet on medium-high heat. Sauté meatballs in your pan until fully cooked on the inside, making sure to move them around occasionally so all sides get browned. Cooking time varies depending on the size of the meatballs but usually takes around 7-10 minutes.
