Tips & Substitutions
Feel free to add spices to your pumpkin seeds when you add the salt and pepper. When making our pumpkin seeds, we use a mixture of garlic, onion, paprika, dried thyme, dried tarragon, coriander, and cumin.
Heat pan with avocado oil over medium high heat.
Once hot, add pumpkin seeds, salt & pepper and dried herbs & spices. Frequently move the seeds around to prevent burning and coat them with oil.
Continue cooking for approximately 10-15 minutes or until the pumpkin seeds turn golden and slightly puffed.
Allow seeds to cool slightly and add balsamic vinegar. Mix to coat the seeds.
Transfer seeds to a plate and allow to cool.
